2011-2012 Service Projects

  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  supported one scholarships for a 3 Chisholm Students to attend District 5750’s RYLA Camp.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma gave $300 to the Enid High School Science Department to assist with Science Kits.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  donated $250 to 4RKids Foundation, Inc for their Angel Sponsorship.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  donated $500 to the Enid Public Schools Foundation’s Signature Grant for Teacher Program.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma sponsored "Books for Schools" by giving $500 to Monroe Elementary School.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  Sponsored " Math Mania" on PEGASYS with a $500 gift.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  Sponsored 2 scouts with the Cimarron Council, Boy Scouts of America.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  donated $500 to the Enid Park Projects – Champlin Park Project.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  gave $500 to the Enid Board of Education for a Refrigerator of the Longfellow Food Pantry.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  has one simplified district grants.
    • One for $1560 toward a SmartBoard Accessories for Enid Public Schools.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma help the YMCA with their Back-A-Youth program with a $300 donation.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma donated $500 to RSVP to be a Banquet Sponsor.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma supported Enid Noon Ambucs by becoming a Silver Sponsor at the 7th Annual Smokin Red Dirt BBQ, $500.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma supported Project Bulgaria with a $1,000 donation.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma sponsored a Junior College team in the  Division II World  Series at David Allen Ball Park..
  • Rotary Club of  Enid,Oklahoma donated $1,081.00 to the Enid Salvation Army Shoe Program.
  • Rotary Club of  Enid,Oklahoma  held a "Festival of Flavor" March 3,2011  at the EHS Food Court and raised $1,000 for Polio Plus and $6,000 for technology at Emerson Middle School.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma gave $500 to the Woodward Community Foundation’s Tornado Relief Fund
  • 16 Enid Rotarians donated $1,780 to the Woodward Community Foundation’s Tornado Relief Fund.

  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  Sponsored " Math Mania" on PEGASYS with a $500 gift.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  has one simplified district grants.
    • One for $1400 toward a SmartSlates for Enid High School.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma sponsored "Books for Schools" by giving $500 to McKinley Elementary School.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma donated $872 to help with a copier at RSVP.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma supported Enid Noon Ambucs by becoming a Silver Sponsor at the 5th Annual Smokin Red Dirt BBQ, $500.

    • The Enid High PTSA’s Project Graduation.

    • The Oklahoma Bible Academy Senior Celebration.

  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  donated $1,200 to 4RKids Foundation, Inc to help with their Well Project.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma helped build a Playhouse for the Garfield County Child Advocacy Council.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma sponsored "Books for Schools" by giving $500 to Coolidge Elementary School.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  has three simplified district grants.
    • One for $1500 toward a SmartBoard Responders for Enid High School.
    • The second of $2000 to the Department of Human Services Hygiene Backpacks.
    • The third of $1,500 to help with a copier at Booker T Washington.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma supported Enid’s Habitat for Humanity by becoming a Silver Sponsor at the 5thAnnual Smokin Red Dirt BBQ.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  Sponsored " Math Mania" on PEGASYS with a $500 gift.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma gave a gift of $500 to Enid Noon Ambucs in support of their Miracle League Toys & Field at Park.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma donated $2000 to the Salvation Army Summer Camp Program.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma sponsored the Altus Western Junior College team in the  Division II World  Series at David Allen Ball Park..
  • Rotary Club of  Enid,Oklahoma donated $1,134 to the Enid Salvation Army Shoe Program.
  • Rotary Club of  Enid,Oklahoma  held a "Festival of Flavor" March 4,2010  at the EHS Food Court and raised $1,000 for Polio Plus and $5,255 for technology at Emerson Middle School.

 

2008-2009 Service Projects

  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  adopted Lincoln Academy for  a child mortality project by starting the Lincoln Heritage Breakfast club to be sure children in need start the day with proper nutrition.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma started a "Change for Kids"  where Rotarians put their loose change in a jar at club  to fund the Lincoln Academy Breakfast Club.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma sponsored "Books for Schools" by giving $500 to Lincoln Alternative School and $500 to Enid High School Library for books.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma reached out to children in need by giving $500 to the Emerson School CLothing Room.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  Sponsored " Math Mania" on Pegasus with a $500 gift.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  has two  simplified district grants.One for $1000 toward a refrigerator and range at Lincoln Academy to make the Breakfast CLub supplies more accessible and to teach simple cooking skills. The Second for $1000 to go towards benches for the Enid High School Track with the Rotary Wheel on them.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  members rang the kettle bell for the Salvation Army at the food court at the mall  and raised $556.69
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma started an Honorary Membership for the Wing Commander at Vance Air Force Base.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma donated $2000 to the Salvation Army for their Shoe Fund.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Okahoma  hosted a  Group Study Exchange Team from Bolivia.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma  supported four scholarships for RYLA Camp.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Okahoma had a Valentine Social and raised $1,600 for the Enid High School  Orchestra's Contest Trip to San Antonio,Texas.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma gave $500 to the Enid Habitat for Humanity.
  • Rotary Club of Enid Oklahoma is working with a Rotary Club in the Ukraine to Pardner on a Matching Grant.
  • Rotary Club of  Enid,Oklahoma  held a "Festival of Flavor" March 5,2009  at the EHS Food Court and raised $1,000 for Polio Plus and $5,579 for two smart boards for Emerson.
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma sponsored the Altus Western Junior College team in the  Division II World  Series at David Allen Ball Park..
  • Rotary Club of Enid,Oklahoma in  2008-2009 was able to raise and put  $44,000 to work in the Enid Community.
